The return of the heavier more comforting foods as our bodies prepare for the cold months to come. I love the cuisines of autumn, stews, soups, pies and all of the pungent spices. I am salivating just writing about it! Along with eating seasonally, I also stock up on supplements i will need to have my immune system fighting fit. Immunity from Kikihealth includes vitamin C and vitamin D to zinc and an exclusive blend of adaptogens and botanicals. Naturally targeting and supporting our immune systems.

From your personal fragrance to the home this is one of the quickest ways introduce a new season. For my personal fragrance i like to lean to more earthy and comforting scents. crisp, spicy base notes For my home i love the cosy nights candle from Neom which is 100% natural with pure essential oils. I also love to burn clove, cinnamon, patchouli and orange essential oils. Blending the oils also is wonderful to, creating your own autumnal scents!

It’s time to store away your lighter summer fabrics to cosy, heavier ones. Wools, heavy cottons and cashmeres are my favourites. Adding darker hues, deeper colours to my neutral capsule wardrobe. This season deep reds, greys and navy are trending. I personally love the red and have been injecting into my autumn outfits. Heavier blazers, chunky knits and layering are my autumn style staples.

After the dry and hot summer my skin and hair most definitely needs some TLC, a time for a good injection of nourishment and restoration. I swap out my lighter products to slightly more richer ones to really hydrate. I love to use Pai’s Love & Haight Intensive Hydration Boost Moisturiser along side Pai’s Hydrating Booster Serum to rehydrate my skin after the dry hot days. REN Moroccan Rose Otto Ultra-Moisture Body Oil to slather my entire body bringing it back to life!

Many veggies and plants can be planted in September, garlic and onions. Pak choi, Spinach, Radishes, Chicory, Cauliflower, Broccoli. Also hardy greens such as Kale, Land Cress, Pak Choi, Mizuna, and Mustard.
