Some legends report that goji berries were eaten by monks in the Himalayan Mountains thousands of years ago and steeped in hot water to help aid meditation and obtain greater health, vitality, longevity, energy and stamina, earning their nickname “red diamonds”.
Legend has it that a doctor on a trip during his studies of an ancient society living in a remote region part of the Himalayas discovered that members of this society lived long lives of good health for 100 years or more, had no grey hair and didn’t loose their teeth! Eventually he noticed that they lived near a river over where goji berry vines grew. As the berries ripened, they feel into the water where their nutrients would dissolve which would be drunk by the people living close by. It became obvious that those who drank it lived healthy, long lives!

- 1 cup Coconut Water
- 2 Tbs Goji berry
- 1 Cup of Strawberry’s
- 2 tbs Chia seeds
- Half a Banana
- Juice of one Lime
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend at high speed until mixture is smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
