Beat The Bloat Turmeric Shot Recipe

We may be right in the middle of lockdown but feeling bloated, gassy and uncomfortable is something i don’t want to be dealing with at anytime in my lifetime if possible, even if I am just sitting at home. My Beat The Bloat Turmeric Shot Recipe along with eating well, drinking plenty of water and reducing stress will keep you looking and feeling your best. This is my go to shot when bloating creeps up on me (it’s usually when I’ve eaten bread, as I rarely do) it instantly soothes and calms my digestive system and in turn it does the same to my mind. Remember it’s all connected!

Turmeric

Turmeric is one of nature’s most powerful anti-inflammatories. Curcumin, the potent substance that is in turmeric, helps stimulate the gallbladder to produce bile. Turmeric is known to combat indigestion, bloating and gas.

Ginger

Ginger naturally stimulates the body’s digestive enzymes. Which makes it a powerful digestive aid which has been used to alleviate bloating, stomach pains and gas for centuries. Ginger is anti-inflammatory which helps to relieve inflammation.

Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne Pepper contains a compound called capsaicin that helps to increase the amount of digestive juices in your stomach. It stimulates digestion, eases gas, and can relieve pressure and cramping and works very quickly!

Let’s do this…

Directions
  1. Peel your orange and ginger and place into a high speed blender and blend until mixture is nice and smooth.
  2. Pour into a shot glass and enjoy. You don’t need to neck this as it is strong so it’s ok to sip away at it. Either way is fine.

Remember you don’t need to knock it back like a shot, sipping at it slowly is perfect. We say shot as only a small amount is required as it is so strong. Let me know what you think of the recipe by commenting below and let me know what you’d like from me for the next blog post.

Until then….

Lots of love
